Specializing in live music and experience publicity, Parvu PR has represented some of the world's biggest promoters, venues, and booking agents.
For over a decade Parvu PR's Cristina Parvu has worked with AEG Live/The Bowery Presents, and their Times Square venue PlayStation Theater, assisting on press for artists like Paul McCartney, Billy Joel, Bon Jovi, Rihanna, Britney Spears, John Legend, Selena Gomez, Nick Jonas, Jay-Z, Linkin Park, Little Big Town, and many, many more.
Parvu PR is the agency of record for The Iridium, another iconic Times Square music venue, and also currently assists on PR initiatives for Opry City Stage and select United Talent Agency projects.
Since 2003, Cristina Parvu has been at the helm of a wide range of entertainment, branding and personality campaigns. First delving into live music PR by assisting with the Summer Concert Series for ABC’s Good Morning America under the mentorship of Bridgette Maney, Cristina went on to work with PR legends Joe Dera and Chris Roslan at DRC Public Relations and exclusively handled national tour press for a diverse set of Grammy-winning acts including The Chieftains and Mannheim Steamroller.
Cristina has handled tours for Disco Queen Gloria Gaynor, actor-turned-blues performer Steven Seagal, and Elfenworks – San Francisco’s premier independent jazz and classical label. Her efforts on behalf of these tours and artists resulted in feature stories in dailies across the country, including national placements in music magazines such as Paste Magazine, Guitar World, and Rolling Stone. Cristina has also booked acts for local and national TV performances such as LIVE with Regis & Kelly, Fox & Friends, and Good Day New York.
Through her work on CD launches and campaigns for EMI, she has walked the red carpet, made key introductions between clients and celebrities, and placed stories in a wide range of national outlets, such as: TIME Magazine, the New York Times, USA Today, Parade Magazine, Body+Soul Magazine, VIBE, Metal Edge and Billboard. Cristina also contributed to the press launch of the innovative music technology, BlingTones — the world’s first wireless record label.
